Phil has over 25 years’ experience working in residential design and development. He initially worked for a development company specialising in urban regeneration and the refurbishment of historic buildings before joining architectural practice in 2006. Phil now leads our residential and community team alongside Steve Stokes, on projects ranging from one-off houses to complex mixed-use developments and large estate regeneration.
Phil understands that housing is about aspiration and that good design can satisfy people’s aspirations, transform places and improve lives. He applies this ethos to each of his projects, championing quality whilst contributing extensive technical expertise to ensure that buildings are robust, offer value for money and perform as designed.
